I love my city a lot and I have a lot of resources and 99 happiness, but I’ve been playing it on coolmathgames on mobile and will have to give up the device by the end of the year. Is there any way to save it or do I have to rebuild it from scratch??
If you have an Android device, you can Export your save from the game menu. Then save the file to a cloud service (e.g. Google Drive) and open it elsewhere. On iOS, I'm afraid this is not possible right now because of platform restrictions.
I finally got to 1000 people!! I am so happy! Also, is there a glitch in the indoor farms? I can’t seem to get any food, it just stays on 0. Oh, and is there a limit on how high you can stack things? Because otherwise you could literally just build up to the sky and that is not the best idea. Keep up the good work and I absolute LOVE this game!!!
Hey, definitively not a rude question. I'm afraid I'm very bad at estimates of this. I'll mostly be occupied with other work in the coming period. This is fun work, but it does mean that I will have limited time to work on this game.
And I still have a considerate backlog for the next update. I would say it should take two weeks to a month, but it may well take longer. I'm considering just releasing the Bolt and related buildings separate from the rest of the update.
This game is great although i have a HUGE suggestion that could make it even better, how about you can build something that if you have a bunch of resources, can build a exploration ship, which can be used to create a new colony thats directly linked with the one you started with, so you can chose to send people and resources as you please to create a new, eventually self sustaining colony that can then again launch another ship
I really like that idea i feel it would be nice to do that but wouldn't it get boring after you start another colony then give it like 10000 of each resource???
So for your idea specifically, perhaps you have to build highly expensive ships that can only be used once just to transport, say 100 wood or 50 stone, it would incentive's working on your other colony first, and perhaps you can eventually be able to a deep space teleport, or commercial rocket taxis of some sort so that you can eventually slowly or even later instantaneously transport stuff and people between the two colonies to the point where someone could work at one colony but live on another.
Yeah, I thought about that before and I think it would be a good idea. That would probably of a semi-planned Rocket update. But I'm still working on another update now (and am really busy with non-gamedev work), so I'm afraid it might take a while yet.
You can never have too many resources. :P But you have quite a few! You can get a lot more stone by building more stone mines. Stone teleporters only bring the rocks, you still need miners!
Also one more question, why does my game suddenly go into this super random state where everything just becomes one colour and everything freezes and no options are left. It's how I keep losing my progress.
Hm, that sounds like a frustrating bug! I have not seen that before. Could you please try opening the browser console (right click outside the game->Inspect Element->Console) and see whether there are any errors there and copy them to a new comment?
When does this error happen? Randomly or when you do something specific? (e.g. loading a save file)
You can also try Exporting your save regularly so you lose less progress as a band-aid solution, of course I'll try to solve the real problem too.

Are you still running Windows XP by the way? I just looked at your screenshot a bit more closely. If you are, you should know that I can't really support that OS anymore, so there may be more problems like this (although I try to still make it work properly, of course). I would advise you to upgrade to a more modern OS if you can, also for security reasons.
I accidentally pressed the "Push to itch.io" button, so I guess you could say there has been an update. But most of the new content I've prepared is actually still hidden. There are some little things though. For example, holes in buildings and rooftop buildings now have a bit less restrictions.
There is no login system or something like that, but the game does save. However, some computers occasionally delete save files. If you want to be sure, Export your save from the game menu regularly.
Suggestion: you should add a feature were you don't have to individually click to place building but instead have a drag placement area so you can just fill in the area with the building of your choice.
How do I "build the machine"? The resource requirements seem to purposely be off the screen so the player can't see it. If it is on purpose then that's cool because I personally think it's a good idea, but if it wasn't you might want to fix which way the pop up for the building appears in the game.
idk if I’m allowed to ask this but is there a secret code for more stone because I really deep in the 2nd scenario and forgot to build a stone teleporter, and I don’t want to restart

Try using eco farms if you have them unlocked. Also put your cursor over your food supply and see how much food is eaten over much is grown.

Congratulations on reaching 1000 people! They do eat a lot, so you may need some more farms. You can also try boosting them with labs.

I know this is an old thread but is there a maximum amount of miners that can mine at a stone teleporter at one time?
so i started and im the second "level" you could say and i had 400 people litterally in 10 minutes i only had like 250 why are they dying so quickly

Do the boosts from the labs work on Eco Farms? I can't tell if the crops are being boosted?
